Spun ductile copper versus stiff PVC light cords
The problem with stiff green plastic string lights
Heavy plastic-jacketed holiday cables fight against delicate tree boughs and weigh down fragile branches. Their bulky plugs restrict decoration to areas near wall sockets.
Our spun copper alternative
Our fine bare copper wire wraps easily around stems and stays in position on its own. The compact battery box tucks out of sight into greenery, giving you freedom of display anywhere.
How our copper string lights are drawn and assembled
Wire Drawing
Pure copper rods are drawn through precision diamond dies to achieve pliable hair-thin gauge.
Thermal Annealing
The copper wire passes through an inert-atmosphere furnace to soften the metal for bending.
Diode Mounting
Micro-diodes are soldered across parallel copper tracks and sealed with optical epoxy.
Burn-In Circuit Test
Each finished string is illuminated continuously for 60 minutes to certify connection stability.
Quiet amber light spun on ductile bare copper
Battery-operated warm light string lights. We draw high-purity copper wire down to fine, pliable strands that can be twisted, bent, and wrapped around branches without breaking or kinking. Our makers embed micro-LED emitters at gentle intervals along the dual twisted wires, insulating the connections with clear resin beads that resist minor moisture. The warm golden tone of the bare copper wire blends effortlessly into evergreen pine needles, turned beechwood decor, or fluted glass displays. Free from heavy dark rubber cables or clunky wall plugs, this strand lets you introduce quiet, atmospheric glow to tables, mantels, and wreaths with simple cordless ease.

Customer experiences with copper lighting
"The copper wire is very pliable and holds whatever shape you bend it into. It wove beautifully through our Scots pine wreath without weighing down the needles."
Beatrice N.
Customer
"The light color is truly warm and golden rather than that harsh bright white you see on cheap string lights. The battery box is small enough to hide behind a bough."

Copper light string questions answered
What batteries does the wire string require? +
The compact power pack runs on two standard AA batteries, which are easily replaced by sliding open the latch.
Can the copper wire get warm to the touch? +
No, micro-LEDs generate virtually zero heat, making the copper strand completely safe to weave among pine boughs or wooden ornaments.
Is the wire submersible in water? +
The copper wire strand itself is water-resistant, but the battery pack must remain completely dry and protected from standing water.
Can I cut the copper wire to make it shorter? +
We do not recommend cutting the wire as it breaks the electrical circuit and deactivates the remaining diodes.
