Ornamenthaven started on Newton Street out of a shared frustration with thin, disposable plastic baubles that lose their glitter after a single winter. We wanted to hold festive pieces with weight, made from raw glass, honest timber, and fresh evergreen branches that look and feel authentic.
We partner with small European glassblowers and timber turners who still shape raw soda-lime glass over burners and work kiln-dried beechwood on foot lathes. Every ornament is examined individually on our bench in Manchester, where we check the metal hangers, inspect the brushwork, and test wire strands before boxing.
